Etac NA Marketing Director, Nanneke Dinklo, today announced the launch of the Convaid YoYo, a compact, easy-to-use hi-lo frame engineered to interface with the Convaid Trekker seating module for children and adolescents with mild to severe involvement.
The Convaid YoYo is lightweight with a compact footprint with tilt-in-space capabilities, locking caster wheels, and is height adjustable with best-in-class lift assist. One base works with the two Trekker seating modules, Trekker 12 and 14, and is stable enough to use the complete recline to allow for diaper changes and hair washing. The YoYo can be used as an activity chair and is a perfect solution for feeding, therapy and daily activities.
“We recognize that inclusion in family, school and community activities is critical to the emotional well-being of any child living with special needs. This is where YoYo’s versatility comes in. The gas-assisted foot pedal easily positions a child from floor to table height promoting play at floor-level or interaction at standing height. It also makes daily activities such as brushing teeth, sitting in a classroom and dining with the family much easier,” Dinklo said.
- YoYo is compact, portable, easy-to-use inside and outside the home
- Meets participation and communication needs of families, caregivers and peers
- Variable height levels and tilt-in-space allow simple position changes
- Interfaces with Trekker seating module, allowing easy transitioning between Trekker base and YoYo frame
